THIS year, it's happening at the Ritz! Don't miss your chance
to pick up $75 tickets to the 1998 SCP Fedewa New Year's Eve
Party with Gonzo's Nose (http://www.gonzosnose.com) this
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19TH, from 3:00 to 5:00pm
at the first floor Restaurant and Bar of the Ritz-Carlton
Pentagon City, 1250 S. Hayes Street, in Arlington (directions

Please note that the regular ticket price is $75, and this
price will rise to $85 on or before December 29th without
further notice (check http://www.scp.org for more).
Tickets are also available online for the time being.
Tickets can ONLY be reserved with payment.
As this is a private party, all online sales are subject to
verification by the Host Committee; full and prompt refunds
will be issued as conditions warrant.
The Main Event is black tie optional and features a full, open
bar, hors d'ouevres by the award-winning culinary geniuses of
the Ritz-Carlton, the hip, eclectic party and dance music of
regional favorites, Gonzo's Nose, and the five-star banquet
space and room accommodations of the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City.

at our Event, just one, big happy group of partygoing friends!
A "5 Days `Til Midnight" countdown party will be held right after
Christmas on Saturday, December 26, at Georgetowne Station (for
more information on this venue see the Washington Post's write-up
online at http://yp.washingtonpost.com/E/V/WASDC/0020/01/59/).
This event will start at 8:00pm and will continue our countdown
to New Year's Eve (see our Website at http://www.scp.org/5DTM.html
for more). This will be your last chance to meet other friends
going to The Party and enjoy the balance of a computer-glitch free
year over a few beers.
Formed to promote community events, the SCP is a 501(c)(7) non-
profit, non-stock Virginia corporation, and event proceeds benefit
charity. Past SCP events have been held at the Andrew W. Mellon
Auditorium, McLean Gardens, Mike Bakers, Hotel Washington,
Starboard (Dewey Beach), Thompsons Boat House, Rhodeside Grill,
Music City Roadhouse, King Pepper, Tortilla Coast, Head's,
Clarendon Grill, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and
America at Union Station. Before that? We were in the `rents'
basement!
