ROCK BOTTOM BALLSTON OPENS WITH A BANG (AND A LINE OUT THE DOOR)!
Thanks to all of you who attended last night's fantastic SCP happy
hour with Society Ties! And our apologies to those of you who saw
the line at 7:00 and decided not to wait in it for 45 minutes. What
can we say? We knew Rock Bottom would be a popular venue and we
w-a-r-n-e-d you to get there early!
We saw a lot of people with Leukemia Society buttons on, but if you
missed the opportunity to contribute an optional donation and would

BACK TO BASICS BOAT HOUSE KEG PARTY WITH GONZO'S NOSE 10/16
In a repeat of our popular 1997 party at Thompsons Boat House with
Gonzo's Nose, we're throwing another one just like it this year on
Saturday, October 16th.
Details? Great live music. Keg beer. Waterfront view. Munchies. And
casual attire (very casual). Nothing else to say---except that the
venue isn't huge, so we're sure to sell out quickly.

Tickets are $10 before October 1st. After that they are $15. And due
to National Park Service regulations, no door sales are allowed, so
we'll have to turn away all the slackers.
