This event will be just what the doctor ordered to cap off a tough Friday (coming on the heels of the Veteran's Day holiday tomorrow) and Federal workers, in particular, have NO excuse not to be there! As with our popular September 2d event at Rock Bottom Ballston, Society Ties will join us again, and tickets to their November 20th black tie "Sting" Casino Night (see details, below) will be available from volunteers onsite at Sequoia. Miller Lite, Amstel Light, Heineken, and 16 microbrewed beers are available in bottles, and Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, Rolling Rock, Pete's Wicked Ale, and other beers are available on tap by the pint. The annual "Sting" Casino Night, held at America at Union Station, is one of DC's funnest holiday events for young professionals. It is an evening of good times, eating, drinking, gambling, a great silent auction, and live dance music by Blame It On Jane---all to benefit the fight against Leukemia. So save the date and help us celebrate life, as we help others overcome the fight against this formiddable foe. The Sting is the premier annual event of Society Ties, the young professional volunteer network of the National Capital Area Chapter of the Leukemia Society of America. The Sting will be held from 7:00pm to 1:00am, Saturday, November 20, 1999, at America at Union Station.
