Last year's very successful list, SCP1999, was comprised
of almost 1,600 subscribers from all over the country.
The SCP2000 list was created to refresh our database of
e-mail addresses and to update venue preference data. All
SCP1999 list members were automatically unsubscribed when
the old list was decommissioned.

The 2000 HeartThrob Ball will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2000,
and will feature three contagious sets of music by the Velveteens
(see http://yp.washingtonpost.com/E/E/WASDC/0001/60/92/ for a recent
Washington Post review of the band). The event will take place again
at the colossal and ever-improving Ronald Reagan Building, and we
think the fact that Party Digest gave last year's event a bad review
be a sign to everyone that if they didn't go last year, they should
definitely go this year. This year's new committee members and hosts
are committed to continuing the tradition of upgrading and updating
the Ball, and building on the great record of success this event has
enjoyed.
All proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association. See our new
Website at http://www.HeartThrobBall.com for more and to purchase
tickets online using your credit card.
The official HeartThrob Ball invitation, as designed by Eye Design &
Marketing Inc. (http://www.eyedesigninc.com), is now available online
as a downloadable Adobe Acrobat PDF file suitable for printing! The
file is large, but if you have a good connection you can download and
view it at http://www.HeartThrobBall.com/pdf/htb2000.pdf. The file
also contains hyperlinks that point to the Website and to other
relevant HeartThrob Ball information.
