Buses Gassing Up for the 2d Annual Spring Gold Cup University Row!
As seen in the
Monthly Buzz!
Tents? We've got `em.
Buses? Got those too.
Full open bar? Yup. Not just beer, not just wine . . .
Food? Yes---all day long!
Instant party afterwards? Uh huh. Just take Clarendon Grill and add
half a dozen bus-loads of people to it and, voila!

Join the W & M tent at the 2d annual University Row of alumni tents
with UVa, Virginia Tech, James Madison University, and other local
alumni chapters!
Last year, over 150 alumni, friends, and family joined us as we made
our way to The Plains, Virginia. This year is the 75th running of
the Gold Cup, one of the most prestigious steeplechase races in the
country, and we expect the combined attendance at University Row
tents to exceed 500 people. We'll have great food, beverages (and
other libations), and, of course, great intercollegiate camaraderie!
W & M has two buses again this year, and we will be on the North Rail
again, which has been the central social location of Gold Cup for the
past several years.
To join in on the fun, simply send in your payment!
Your ticket includes:
o Round-trip bus transportation to and from Clarendon Grill
in Arlington;
o Buffet lunch and snacks throughout the day;
o FULL OPEN BAR at Gold Cup; and
o Post-Gold Cup happy hour at Clarendon Grill with other schools
on "University Row."
Bus and Tent:
$80 per person ($75 for William and Mary alumni Chapter members)
Tent-ONLY:
$45 ($35 for W & M alumni Chapter members)
Tent-Only ticket holders are responsible for their own transportation
to and from Gold Cup. Car passes must be purchased in advance---there
are no day-of sales. Call the Gold Cup office at (540) 347-2612 for
details about car passes.
