SCP - HANDS ON DC JOINT FUNDRAISER ( 3 / 21 )
 
Next week, on the first day of Spring, our monthly tour continues: Join the SCP and Hands on DC at the "Sand Bar" at Whitlow's on Wilson on Thursday, March 21st, from 6:00-9:00pm for a fundraiser to benefit local public school students.

Over 150 people attended our February 7th event with Greater DC Cares and we are told that about $750 was raised to support their charitable mission, so we have even higher hopes for this event!

As seen in The Monthly Buzz, for just $5 you get beverage specials, chips and salsa, and a chance to win a cool door prize! All money supports Hands On DC's 7th annual public school work-a-thon, which takes place Saturday, April 13th.

Whitlow's is located at 2854 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, near the Clarendon Metrorail Station (Orange Line).

This is all part of our effort to help you meet some of the fun groups that need your help while having a good time and meeting new people.
 
   

 
 UNIVERSITY ROW AT VIRGINIA GOLD CUP  ( 5 / 4 )
 
14 tents. 1 party. 1 ticket.

In 2001, the Capital Alumni Network's University Row emerged as the dominant social locale along the Virginia Gold Cup's popular North Rail.

In 2002, with over 14 tents from almost 40 schools surrounded by a common fence, it will be the only place to be.

The main even takes place on Saturday, May 4th, and a "bazillion-way" kickoff event will take place on April 4th. Ticket sales should begin within a few days.
