This month's SCP happy hour brings us to the Georgetown Waterfront. Our partner this month is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and our venue is the patio of Riverside Grill across from Tony and Joe's.

This event runs from 6:30-9:30pm on Thursday, April 25th. Stop by! Drink specials on wine, beer, and rail drinks are your's for a suggested donation of just $5 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Located at 3000 K Street NW, Riverside overlooks the Potomac River and is a hub of Georgetown's vibrant summer nightlife scene.

Make "A Bet for Life" with Society Ties on April 27th!

Society Ties, the young professional network of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, is sponsoring the sixth-annual Society Ties Casino Night, Saturday, April 27th from 8:00pm - 1:00am at The Galleria at Lafayette Plaza.

The night promises to be better than ever and will include mock gambling, a silent auction, dancing to great two bands, open bar, buffet, and more! All proceeds benefit LLS.

The Galleria is located at 1155 21st Street NW, between L and M Streets. Parking will be provided courtesy of Society Ties.

Tickets cost $85 per person in advance ($99 at the door, if available). Live music by Jennifer on Sunday and THRILL.

UNIVERSITY ROW AT VIRGINIA GOLD CUP ( 5 / 4 )
 
15 tents. 39 schools. 1 party. 1 ticket?

This is one party you don't want to miss: 15 tents straddling two viewing areas. Hosted by alumni from over 39 schools, this event features a full three-menu buffet and open bars throughout. All of this surrounded by a huge fence, with no barriers between tents, and with common rail and terrace areas.

See for yourself! Check out the map of University Row—it's 1/3d of all North Rail spaces and is 4x bigger than the next largest gathering of tents!

But it is not just bigger, it's better, too: This year great care has been taken to improve everything further. Security is enhanced, logistics has streamlined, the bar staff has been expanded, and total catering personnel now number nearly 50 in total this year! Even our bathrooms have been upgraded!

November might seem a long way off to you, but we're already thinking about it: Continuing with our theme of mixing things up we've scheduled a joint cocktail hour with the University Club's recently-revamped Proctor Dougherty Society.
