Read general information about the event

OUR ANNUAL TOUR of the city's finest venues brings us this year to the ornately-restored Willard Inter-Continental Washington, the famed "Residence of Presidents". Host to thousands of stately banquets, the Willard has a 150-year tradition of service and excellence. Hand-rolled cigars and single-malt Scotch will also be available for those who appreciate them, and work is underway now for our first-ever silent auction to benefit our charity, St. Ann's Infant and Maternity Home. While supplies last, you can get these $125 tickets for $25 or more off (contact your host or hostess for their unique discount code or use discount code scp when ordering). That's a deal that you can't beat anywhere, and—if our November 8th event at the U Club is any indicator—it won't be available for long. Prices will rise in a few days.

Tour the party site

THE WILLARD is not another cookie-cutter bit of steel and prefabrication—indeed, quite the opposite is true: It is a landmark in its own right and an important witness to over 150 years of American history. The Willard's Peacock Alley and the site's many classic rooms have played host to presidents, princes, governors, senators, diplomats, poets, and socialites from every decade since Henry Willard bought the property in 1850 and transformed it from a modest hostelry to a grand gathering point where deals were made and art was inspired.

Check out the band

FROM HEINZ STADIUM to the Harbour Club, this hot new Baltimore band has played every type of venue since forming just a few months ago. A mix of club veterans and fresh faces, this 9-piece band has palpable stage presence and their energy is contagious. Serving up an energetic fusion of funk, R & B, disco, and modern hits, JumpStreet is talented and tight, with a great, full sound.

Visit the hotel online

WE HAVE ARRANGED a large block of sleeping rooms just a quick elevator ride from the evening's festivities. Voted the No. 1 Hotel in Washington in 2002 by the reader's of Conde Nast Traveler, this hotel will not disappoint. After you've purchased your event tickets, call (202) 628-9100 and ask for the SCP Fedewa New Year's Eve Party rate: Single or double occupancy rooms that normally sell for nearly $500 per night are only $139 for our guests (please be ready to provide your six digit SCP registration number to the reservations staff for verification). Room prices may rise after our Saturday, December 21st gathering.
