THIS PARTY. That party.
Politicians and fads come and go, but in Washington and around the Beltway,
one party is always on top:
This year our annual tour of the city's finest venues brings us to the ornately-restored
Willard Inter-Continental Washington, the famed "Residence of Presidents".
Host to thousands of stately banquets, the Willard has a 150-year
tradition of service and excellence. While supplies of discounted tickets last, our $125 tickets
are available for just $110 (contact your
host or hostess for their unique discount code
or use discount code
scp when ordering). That's a deal that you can't beat anywhere!

PRESIDENT GRANT visited the Willard almost every night to enjoy a fine cigar and a tumbler of fine spirits. It dawned on us that many of you might also enjoy a glass of Macallan and a few smooth draws from a hand-rolled Monte Cristo.
Scotch Whisky will be sold by the glass on a cash bar basis. Tentative list of brands to be served: Johnny Walker Black, Oban, Bunnahabhain, Cragganmore, Dalwhinnie, Glenlivet, and Macallan. Cigars will also be sold on a cash basis. Tentative list of available brands: Dominican Cohiba Robustos, Punch, Monte Cristo, Upmann, Davidoff, and San Cristobal Robusto. And, in a bit of fitting irony, proceeds from cigar sales will also be directed to
the St. Ann's Infant and Maternity Home.

SINCE 1860,
St. Ann's Infant and Maternity Home has provided emergency residential

Act of Congress in 1863 and their original charter was signed by Abraham
Lincoln. Event proceeds in excess of cost will be donated to St. Ann's
and all Silent Auction revenue will be contributed.

THE WILLARD is
not another cookie-cutter bit of steel and prefabrication—indeed, quite
the opposite is true: It is a landmark in its own right and an important
witness to over 150 years of American history. The Willard's Peacock Alley
and the site's many classic rooms have played host to presidents, princes,
governors, senators, diplomats, poets, and socialites from every decade
since Henry Willard bought the property in 1850 and transformed it from a
modest hostelry to a grand gathering point where deals were made and art
was inspired.

FROM
HEINZ STADIUM to the Harbour Club, this hot new
Baltimore band has played every type of venue
since forming just a few months ago. A mix of club veterans and fresh faces,
this 9-piece band has palpable
stage presence and their energy is contagious. Serving up an energetic fusion of funk, R & B, disco, and modern hits, JumpStreet is talented and tight, with a great, full sound.

WE HAVE ARRANGED
a large block of sleeping rooms just a quick elevator ride from the evening's festivities. Voted the No. 1 Hotel in Washington in 2002 by the reader's of
Conde Nast Traveler, this hotel will not disappoint. After you've purchased your
event tickets, call (202) 628-9100 and ask for the SCP Fedewa New Year's Eve Party rate: Single or double occupancy rooms that normally sell for nearly $500 per night are only $139 for our guests (please be ready to provide your six digit SCP registration number to the reservations staff for verification).
Room prices may rise at any time!

IT'S NEVER TOO EARLY TO START!
Our fourth annual encore event is back: The First Party of 2003 will
be held at the Dubliner, featuring live music by
The Players starting at 2:00pm. So, after a night of glitz
and glitter and lots of
toasts, kick back and enjoy something "skasual" after a
lazy brunch and bloodies. So far almost 30% of this year's New Year's Eve
guests are also planning on attending the Day After Party, and another 40% are considering it.
Just one more way we stretch out the festivities!
