IF YOU HEAR HORNS coming from the Dubliner on Capitol Hill, it can only mean it's January 1st! Yes, our annual New Year's Eve encore event is back for a 5th year! This year's Day After Party features live music by Eastern Standard Time starting after 2:00pm. Featured on MTV's "120 Minutes" program, EST plays a lively fusion of Ska, Jazz, Punk, Rap, Reggae, and was recently cited as "one of Washington's best bands" by the Washington Post. So, after a night of glitz and glitterand lots of toastswhy not kick back in your jeans and enjoy a lazy brunch, bloodies, and cool tunes? No matter where you celebrated midnight, you'll find the food cheap and on target. Brunch specials start at 11:00am and will continue for about an hour after the band starts.
There is no cover charge for
admission: As a gift to you, the Dubliner, the SCP, and the band have all made contributions
to absorb the normal entertainment expenses. Just remember to tip the
waiters and waitresses and your
bartenderand, most of all, please enjoy yourself! |
